Vaping and Fitness: Can They Coexist?

Here’s the deal: vaping can impact cardiovascular performance. Some studies suggest that even nicotine-free vape products can affect lung function and heart rate. So yes, if you’re doing a lot of cardio, you might notice shortness of breath if you’re using a vape regularly—especially one with higher nicotine content.

I personally noticed it during HIIT workouts. After a night of heavier vaping, my endurance dipped. It wasn’t dramatic, but it was noticeable.
